In my last semester of college, I was as a graphic designer for UIUC’s Interdisciplinary Health Sciences Institute. When COVID hit, connection got harder—so I designed desktop wallpapers inspired by IHSI’s core principles to bring a little closeness (and color) to our remote days. Even apart, a shared screen can still feel like a shared space.
